recursively delete .svn folder

To recursively delete all .svn folders below a given path follow these instructions:

Linux

Run this command:

#rm -rf `find . -type d -name .svn`

Or:

# find . -type d -name .svn | xargs rm

Windows

1. Open up command prompt
2. Browse to the parent folder (.svn folders exist below your parent folder)
3. Copy and paste this in to command prompt:

for /f "usebackq" %d in (`"dir *.svn /ad/b/s"`) do rd /s/q "%d"

4. Hit enter and be amazed!
